Head of Talent Acquisition - In-house (FT/PT - Salary DOE)

Job description

Salary: Competitive, based on ability/experience

Job Type: Full-time/part-time, Permanent

We’re looking for a recruitment powerhouse that has more than proven their worth hiring for a vast range of roles across the creative and digital industries. We’re a fast-paced, award-winning agency, voted No1 in Essex by our clients. We’re growing fast and we have no plans for slowing down. We need someone that can keep up with our demand for more talent, streamline our recruitment process and find the A-players we’re looking for to grow our agency. Our commitment to our clients starts with having the right people and expertise under one roof, and while we find countless applications entering our inboxes every day, we want more and the highest possible calibre of candidates.

For the right person, we can be flexible. If you want full-time, part-time, school hours only or working from home, we can work around you – so long as you can deliver for us. We’re so busy delivering for our clients, we need someone completely dedicated to getting the right talent through the door.

You’ll need to have a proven track record in recruiting for the creative field. You’ll need to keep calm under pressure and be able to manage your time – as well as other people’s – effectively. This is NOT a commission-based role, we are offering a generous base salary to the right candidate and the opportunity for you to work locally without the slog of the commute. We’ll expect you to leverage our social channels and oversee the creation of the right assets to attract the right people.

...And if the right people aren’t coming to us, you’ll be expected to go out and find them. Inbound, outbound and anything in between – by any means possible. You’ll write the ads, handle all the initial communication and present all worthy candidates to the Operations team. This is an end-to-end recruitment role in every sense of the word. We’re not recruiters, that’s why we’re looking for a recruitment professional.

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Working with department heads to create job specifications

  • Uploading job specifications to relevant platforms/boards and determining additional spend for promotion

  • Working to create recruitment strategies for high profile roles and inputting into the testing/screen process based on experience

  • Pre-screening candidates and responding to both successful/unsuccessful applicants

  • Managing internal diaries for interviews, ensuring meeting rooms are booked and sending invites to candidates

  • Keeping a log of interviews and status updates on each candidate

  • Assist with the on-boarding of new starters, collating all relevant info, ensuring contracts get signed and all questions are answered

  • Reporting to department heads, the MD and Operations Director on significant events
