Salary: £28K-£35K (Depending on Experience)

Location: Leigh-on-Sea, Essex

Are you passionate about capturing content and crafting compelling stories through video? We’re looking for someone with both filming and editing skills, to join us at our Leigh-on-Sea office where you'll collaborate with a dynamic, creative team to bring our clients' visions to life. From filming on location to developing and editing for digital platforms, you'll play a pivotal role in producing captivating visual experiences.


This is an exciting time to join Storm as we are about to launch Leigh-on-Sea’s first soundproof filming and podcast studio set within a 2000 sq. ft. custom-built facility, with a 9 metre cyclorama and 3 podcast sets.

Job requirements

Day-to-day you’ll be:

  • Assisting the production team by attending and filming on video shoots across various locations (you’ll work alongside a team of other creatives and directors)

  • Editing different types, formats and sizes of content for digital and social channels; this will be across multiple B2B and B2C clients to produce pieces ranging from animations and motion graphics through to product explainers, interview Q&As, corporate brand videos and much more

  • Working closely with the design team, feeding into creative concept meetings and inputting ideas into storyboards for certain projects

  • Supporting any additional ad-hoc or internal video/editing tasks as required


Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of proven experience in a similar role

  • Competent in video editing, using Adobe’s Creative Suite (Premiere Pro and After Effects)

  • Experience in filming on shoot locations with a strong understanding of equipment, lighting and production set-ups

  • ​​Must be a creative thinker and have the ability to come up with ideas and concepts

  • A good eye for design and composition and the ability to produce clean content through animation and motion graphics – you must have a portfolio to demonstrate this

  • Ability to work well under pressure and time constraints, delivering content on time and on budget for our clients

  • Genuine interest and curiosity in learning and researching new editing/filming styles and techniques
